Sam Nigro, MSMI

Medical Illustrator

Sam Nigro is a medical illustrator who built this website as her master's project from her time as a student at Augusta University's Medical Illustration Graduate Program. Sam has always been an advocate of the LGBTQ community. When she was in her undergrad, Sam gave speeches to incoming freshmen about inclusion and acceptance of the LGBTQ population at her university. She also served as vice president on the board of her LGBTQ Alliance for a few years. Sam had aspirations of using her skills as a medical illustrator to improve the LGBTQ experience in healthcare, and this project is her first attempt at doing so. Sam's professional website can be visited here and she can be contacted via email here
